The Colorado
College Art History Image Database

This link allows you to search the database of art slides held
in the Art Department of Colorado College. Portions of these slides have
been digitized and can be viewed through the Internet.
In addition, Tutt Library has a rich collection of art books! There are
also indexes in the reference collection used to locate particular images
in published materials, i.e., World
Painting Index, Sculpture
Index, etc.

Technical Images (Illustrations, charts, graphs)
The Accunet/AP Multimedia
Archive (above) includes illustrations and graphics of scientific
process and events. When searching for this type of image, use the pull-down
box under ARCHIVES and change it to "Graphics PDF."
(An "Image" search in Google
might also get you good results.)
