We welcome and encourage your suggestions for purchase of books, scores, recordings, audio visual items, databases, journals, and other materials for the Seay Library of Music & Art. Although acquisitions for the Seay Library are separate from acquisitions for Tutt Library, our purchasing policies are the same. For information, see Tutt’s acquisitions policies.
If you are recommending a book, please keep in mind that most books about music are purchased by and housed in Tutt Library. Seay Library staff will review book recommendations and decide which location is more appropriate.
Requests for purchases for Seay Library must be made directly to the Seay Library and cannot be ordered online. Our staff will review all requests and contact you regarding action. Email your request with the following information:
