September 20.  Community-based Learning: A Brainstorming Session.  A discussion led by Jeff Livesay, Bruce Coriell, and Gay Victoria.

December 10.  Extended Field Trips: Can Faculty Survive the Student Culture?  A panel discussion hosted by the TLC and the International Programs Office.

April 4.  Bill Becker on Service Learning.  Bill Becker, a professor of Economics at CC, will talk about how he incorporates service learning into his Principles of Economics class.

April 17.  Ed Zlotkowski on Service Learning.  Ed Zlotkowski, a visiting expert on service learning, talks about how CC might expand their efforts in the area.

From the TLC Luncheon Series, "Complexity in the Classroom":

September 13.  The Place of Diversity in the Curriculum. A presentation and discussion led by Betty Schmitz of the University of Washington. 

October 12.  Bill Dove on Students with Psychological Disabilities.  A presentation by and discussion with a counselor from Boettcher Health Center.

March 10.  How Extracurricular Activities Affect Student Learning.  A student/facutly discussion on what students do outside the classroom, how it affects them academically, and how best to integrate the two areas.

October 5 and 18Introduction to Learning Styles with Paul Kuerbis.  This is an introductory session to learning styles, providing background for the applications session on Wednesday, October 20.

October 20Implications of Learning Styles for Teaching.  With Molly Wingate, Amy Weible and Paul Kuerbis. A look at how faculty can use information from the Gregorc learning style inventory to address student style diversity.
