Jan Edwards, Director of Disability Services & ADA Coordinator           

Jan received her BA in psychology from the University of South Carolina and her MA in adult education from East Carolina University. She has 17 years of experience in directing disability support programs for college students. Additionally, she has served as the director of a learning assistance center, an academic advisor, and an instructor of reading, writing, and ESL courses. Jan has been at Colorado College since 2005 and serves as the initial point of contact regarding disability services for students. As the ADA Coordinator, Jan assists the College with disability-related compliance issues.

Dr. Bill Dove, Learning Consultant

Bill received his BA from Colorado College and his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Denver. Since 1982, he has been a senior counselor for students at CC's Boettcher Health Center. At the Colket Student Learning Center, Bill consults on disability-related issues and helps students identify their learning styles and develop effective learning strategies.

Patti Spoelman, Learning Commons Office Coordinator

Patti, a Colorado College staff member since 1991, recently assumed the duties of office coordinator for the Learning Commons. In this role, Patti provides support for the Crown Faculty and Colket Student Learning Centers and the Disability Services program. Patti coordinates alternate format and notetaking services for students with disabilities, as well as assisting students with other disability-related issues.
