The Writing Center offers a variety of resources for those concerned with ESL writing and academics in general. Carol Emmer is our ESL specialist and instructor for the ESL adjunct courses. She has over twenty years of experience teaching English as a Second Language to non-native speakers. She has undergraduate and graduate degrees in Russian, French and ESL. Ms. Emmer also has experience as a corporate ESL trainer. She has compiled the resources below. Additionally, she is available by appointment at x6742. English as a Second Language is an integral part of the services offered to the diverse student population at Colorado College. Two adjunct courses, GS201 and GS202, provide auxiliary practice with written and spoken skills. In addition, ESL support is available to any non-native English speaker on campus. Advanced
