The
Writing Center offers an arena where students can work through the
writing process and improve the expression of their ideas by participating
in individualized conferences with trained peer consultants and professional
staff. Students are encouraged to visit the Writing Center at any stage
of the writing process. The Colket Fellow in Reading and Rhetoric works in the Colket Student Learning Center at Tutt Library. The Colket Fellow provides students and faculty with resources and training to integrate reading proficiency and promote active, critical reading skills across the curriculum. The Disability Services office maintains disability-related documents, certifies eligibility for services, determines reasonable accommodations, and coordinates services for students with disabilities. |
The Crown Faculty Center, located in the newly renovated Learning Commons, encourages effective student learning through developing and supporting imaginative, dedicated, self-reflective teaching. The CFC offers many teaching and learning resources to Colorado College faculty, including a computer lab with multimedia equipment, a new multi-purpose smart-classroom (the Instructional Commons), and a large collection of teaching literature.
