INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY POLICY BOARD

The Information Technology Policy Board is composed of three faculty representing the three divisions of the College, the Associate Dean of the College, the Director of Tutt Library, a representative of ITS (selected by the ITS Division), an administrative representative, a support staff representative, and a student representative. The Director of Information Technology Services, the Director of Academic Computing and User Services, the Director of the Budget, and a representative of the Office of College Relations are non-voting members of the Board.

The Board makes policy recommendations to the President, the Dean of the Faculty, the Director of Information Technology Services, and the campus community regarding the use of information technology in teaching, learning, research, and administrative processes at Colorado College. The board reviews budgeting, staffing, computer and network standards, and the rights and responsibilities associated with the use of electronic information resources on campus. In addition the Board monitors and fosters communication between the end-users of information technology and the service providers.
