About Our Office

The Office of Study Abroad and International Students develops and promotes a broad range of international education opportunities for students. Our primary responsibilities include:

  • Advising students on opportunities for study abroad through Colorado College, affiliated, and non-affiliated programs.

  • Providing study abroad orientation and re-entry programs to aid in the cultural adjustment and learning process.

  • Assisting faculty directors of Colorado College study abroad programs with program management, promotion and document processing.

  • Responding to the academic and personal needs of international students through individualized counseling, written materials, and other services.

  • Advising international students on F-1 immigration regulations and serving as a primary designated school official for the College.

  • Working with the International Studies Oversight Committee and International Studies Program to monitor the academic quality of study abroad programs, the expansion of affiliated programs, and the approval process for non-affiliated programs.

  • Organizing campus-wide activities to promote cross-cultural awareness and understanding.
