I forgot my PIN - what do I do?
If you forget your PIN number, don't worry - the first thing you should do is go to the Employee Self-Service Login Page , enter your User ID, and then click the "Forgot PIN?" button.

This will bring up a screen that asks you for the answer to your security question (remember you defined this the first time you logged in).
If you type the answer correctly, it will then allow you to reset your PIN.
Please note that it is very important to make sure that your PIN is secure - this is sensitive, personal information that you do not want anyone else to have access to. As such, the best PINs are more or less random strings of letters and numbers (ex. a43ub2). You should specifically avoid using words that are in the dictionary or would be easy for someone to guess, and you should change your PIN at least once every 3 months.

Once you've done this, just log in with your newly reset PIN and you'll be set.
*Note: Remember that after doing this you will need to update your security question for your new PIN!
If the answer to the security question is not working for some reason, your next step is to call the Help Desk at x6449 and have them expire your PIN for you manually. When they do this, the next time you log in it will make you enter a new PIN - again, remember to update your security question once you have access again! Back to top
How do I make my PIN secure?
- Protect your PIN from unauthorized use.
- Don't share your User ID or PIN with anyone.
- Try to memorize your PIN instead of writing it down.
- Never leave your PIN written down near your computer or any place that another person can find it and use it.
- Change your PIN at least once every 3 months.
- Your PIN should be a random assortment of numbers and letters (ex. a43ub2)
- it should not be any word that can be found in the dictionary.
- Always remember to completely log out of the self-service website when you are finished accessing your personal information.
- Your security question also needs to be secure (Click here for more information about choosing a good security question)
