Don't hesitate to contact us with additional questions about the 1874 Society.

How do I join the 1874 Society?
Make an annual, undesignated gift to Colorado College of $1,874 or more. Gifts may be made by check, credit card, stock, via matching gifts, over the phone, or online. Individuals, corporations, and foundations can become members of the 1874 Society.

Levels of support:
$1,874 - Member of the 1874 Society
$5,000 - Associate Member of the 1874 Society

What is the importance of "undesignated gifts"?
Undesignated giving is critical to the operation of Colorado College because these funds are directed to where they can have the greatest and most immediate impact. Gifts support financial aid, faculty support, library resources, athletic equipment, study abroad opportunities and more. Simply said, undesignated gifts support everyone, everywhere, all the time.

Why Should I join?

Is the 1874 Society based on the calendar year or the fiscal year?
The 1874 Society operates on the fiscal year beginning on July 1st and ending on June 30th. However, membership is determined by the date of the gift. You must renew every year to retain membership.

I work for Colorado College. Is it possible to have my gift deducted from my paycheck?
Yes it is, and it's easy. Just download and fill out the Donation to CC FormPDF .
