PARENTS' (If Dependent) AND STUDENT'S FEDERAL TAX RETURN(S) AND W-2 FORM(S)
Colorado College uses the College Board's Institutional Documentation Service known as IDOC. Upon completing the PROFILE application, the College Board will send you an IDOC Cover Sheet*. Send signed copies of all pages, schedules, and all W-2 forms directly to the College Board using the IDOC Cover Sheet. Visit the IDOC website at https://idoc.collegeboard.com for more information. Do not send state tax returns. Note that our deadline is prior to the IRS filing deadline so we strongly urge you to prepare your tax forms as early as possible. If you are unable to provide tax returns to IDOC by the deadline, you must send our office a written explanation from your tax preparer explaining the delay and providing estimates of AGI and taxes paid (do not send this explanation to IDOC). We must consider your application late if you do not send forms to IDOC by the deadline, or provide the written explanation noted above. MAT students only should send tax returns directly to our office.
* It is very important for you to watch for and retain the IDOC cover sheet. IDOC submissions may be rejected if the cover sheet is printed on two pages, if the cover sheet is damaged, or tax items are not sent with a cover sheet. |

| Each year our goal is to meet the full financial need (according to our policies and institutional methodology) of all students admitted to the college who apply for financial aid on or before our financial aid deadlines. All students who indicate an interest in applying for financial aid are expected to follow through and submit the required financial aid forms before the published deadlines. Students who have incomplete financial aid applications or who apply late, may be eliminated from consideration from both financial aid and admission. |
