There may be additional jobs available that are not listed on this site. Please ask the department that you are interested in for any current openings.

If you were not awarded Federal or State Work-study as part of a financial aid award, you must wait until after 1st Block or 5th Block to apply for a job on campus.

Late Summer/Fall 2008 Athletics Training Room Aides- The position for Training Room Aide is frequent flexible hours depending on sports schedules.  The Training Room Aides are responsible for sport venue set-up each day and are often given small projects as well.  The position begins during the fall preseason on August 16 and continues through early May.  There are frequent weekend hours and occasional block break hours (somewhat flexible as well).   The pay is Grade 1, work study preferred.  Interested students can contact me by email or by phone (x6991) Carrie

Fall 2008 President's Office Student Assistant- The President’s Office is looking for two work-study students to work a total of four hours a day (each student is expected to work two hours per day), starting with the first day of class, September 1, 2008 and continuing through the end of the 2008-09 school year. Duties vary greatly day-by-day and include basic office work (answering phones, greeting guests, filing, copying, mailings, running campus errands, etc.) as well as various office projects including research, composing correspondence, office organization, etc. Qualifications include computer knowledge (to include Outlook, Word and Excel), basic office machine ability (copier, fax machine, etc.), a pleasant and professional demeanor (in person and on the phone), a strong work ethic and a well-developed sense of confidentiality. In addition, it is important that this person be committed to being in the office on a consistent basis and can think outside the box. ADMISSIONS-contact Kathryn Stegeman at 719-227-8151. Applications may be picked up at the front desk of Cutler Hall and will be accepted until the position is filled. Tour Guide : Independently interact with large groups of students and parents in a professional manner. Complete Tour Guide training (a two week/10 hour process). Attend Tour Guide meetings every block. Lead campus tours. Responsible for creating relationships between the Admissions office and prospective families. Evaluate prospective students. Coordinate and present statistical material to prospective families. Qualifications: Excellent speaking, writing, and listening skills. Ability to accurately memorize and present large amounts of statistical infomration. Ability and willingness to speak to visitors and large groups. Maintain a professional demeanor in all situations relating to the college, and admissions in particular. In depth knowledge od campus events and activities. Experience with on-campus living.

ATHLETICS- contact Dave Reed at 389-6105. Sports Information Intern. Need one or two student workers for second semester. Specifically, we're looking for a freshman or sophomore, male or female, interested in working primarily with the women's softball team. He or she will attend all home softball games in the spring (they actually start in February), entering and keeping stats on the computer, etc., in addition to other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Professional non-profit working to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality. This position deals with office tasks, team development, creating partnerships with community members, marketing and public relations.
