Dr. Niven Winchester, Environmental Energy Economist, MIT Joint Program on the Science and Policy of Global Change, Energy Initiative, is the next speaker in the Economics & Business 2013-14 Seminar Series. A native of New Zealand, Niven broadly focuses his research on evaluating the economic costs and impacts of climate change policies and new technologies. Currently, he is interested in how climate policies affect what is called ‘leakage’: the shifting of greenhouse gas emissions from nations with stricter climate policies to countries without climate policies. Join us in Palmer 121 on February 20th at 2pm for Dr. Winchester’s talk: “Secondary Behavioral Incentives: The Super Rugby Try Bonus.” This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be available.
