Description

"Fill the Void" is a 2012 Israeli drama, written and directed by Rama Burshtein. An American Israeli filmmaker, Burshtein is a member of a collective of Orthodox Jewish women filmmakers who write, produce, and direct their own work. The film tells the story is of an 18 year old girl, Shira Mendelman, who is pressured to marry her deceased older sister's husband after her sister's death in childbirth. Recipient of seven Israeli Academy Awards, you won't wan to miss this amazing story by an incredible filmmaker.
