Description
Ann Lesch is a Professor of Political Science and the Associate Provost of International Programs at the American University in Cairo. Dr. Lesch serves on advisory committees for Human Rights Watch (Middle East program), Middle East Report (MERIP), and the Palestinian American Research Center, which she co-founded in 1998 and directed from 2001 until 2004. She was an officer of the Sudan Studies Association (including president, 1998-2000), an officer of the Middle East Studies Association of North America (including president in 1995), and editor of MESA's book-review Bulletin (1998-2001).
