Description

An IDEA Cabaret double-header kicks off the exhibition Systems & Subversions. IDEA Cabaret is an ongoing series of informal conversations, performances, and experiences that explore the themes of IDEA exhibitions from a broad range of personal, artistic, and academic perspectives.

Systems of Perception: Scott Johnson, Associate Professor of Art, and Jonathan Lee, Professor of Philosophy, discuss the relationship betwen art, logical systems, and systems found in nature.

Artificial Natures: Matthew Whitehead, Assistant Professor of Mathematics and Steven Janke, Professor of Mathematics, discuss systems of artificial intelligence.
