Description

Award-winning writer and naturalist and an active member of the Nature Conservancy of Canada, Herriot has authored “River in a Dry Land,” “Jacob's Wound,” and, most recently, “Grass, Sky, Song: Promise and Peril in the World of Grassland Birds.” His blog "Grass Notes" is a major force in the struggle to preserve prairie ecosystems in North America.
