Description
Tania Modleski is Florence R. Scott Professor of English at the University of Southern California, where she teaches film, literature, and popular culture. She is author of "Loving with a Vengeance: Mass Produced Fantasies for Women" and "The Women Who Knew Too Much: Hitchcock and Feminist Theory," both currently in their second editions, among other books. Her lecture on "bromances" is part of a larger project on "male weepies," which examines sentimentality and the construction of masculinity in popular film.
