The Race and Ethnic Studies Program at Colorado College will sponsor a talk on "Race, Politics and the Election"by David Barsamian. Tuesday, November 13, at 4:30p.m. in Gaylord Hall. The talk is open to the college community and to the public. Light refreshments will be served. David Barsamian is the award-winning founder and director of Alternative Radio, the independent weekly audio series based in Boulder, Colorado. One of America's most wide-ranging and respected independent journalists, David Barsamian has altered the media landscape with his radio programs and books with Noam Chomsky, Tariq Ali, Howard Zinn, Arundhati Roy and others.His latest book with Richard Wolff is "Occupy the Economy: Challenging Capitalism."
