An Introduction to Zen Practice: A Way of Waking Up To This Very Life

Location

The Woman's Club, 20 Mesa Rd.

Description

Your life, full as it is, rough as it is, or, how is it? Complete, right? Or not! And there is this yearning. And the breeze blows, the light moves across the floor, the dog barks. Zen is a way of turning the light of your awareness to this, to just what is, now. In the intimacy of still, silent presence, we meet what is with an honest, friendly curiosity. When we let go of everything, something new can happen. With Sarah Bender, Sensei. Please bring some small healthy snack to share in silence. Wear comfortable, plain clothing Fee is $20. Let us know if that is an obstacle. For info or to register, contact Liz Cramer elizabeth.cramer51@gmail.com or (cell) (719) 659-3608. Please visit our website at smszen.org
