Description
At 7pm Tuesday, November 1st in Gates Common Room (Upstairs Palmer), an interdisciplinary panel of Colorado College professors and President Jill Tiefenthaler will discuss the ongoing 'Occupy Wall Street' protests with insight from various relevant fields of academic study. In addition to President Tiefenthaler, the panelists will be: Pedro de Araujo (Economics), Jonathan Lee (Philosophy), Kathy Giuffre (Sociology), and John Gould (Political Science). Help inform the conversation surrounding this current social movement by hearing what CC faculty members have to say. Attendants are invited to stay for coffee and conversation following the program. This event is free and open to the public.
