Nancy Ekberg

Instructor in Recorder

A faculty member of the Music Department at Colorado College, NANCY EKBERG currently performs, teaches and arranges music for recorder and related instruments and directs the Colorado College Collegium Musicum Instrumental Ensemble. From 1978-89, Nancy composed the soundtracks for Kids Corner, Ltd., a pediatric education company that sold award-winning programs in the United States, Australia, Saudi Arabia and Canada. In 1998, she was the musical director and composer for the Theatreworks production of “She Stoops to Conquer”, and has been involved in numerous musical productions. Nancy has studied recorder with Eva Legêne, Frances Blaker, and the Flanders Recorder Quartet.
