Welcome to Colorado College. The contact you have with students, inside and outside of the classroom, as well as with faculty and staff, open our minds to new ideas and cultures in ways that heighten our awareness of global dimensions without leaving campus.

On this website we provide you with the resources to help prepare you for your visit, and to help you plan for the immigration requirements in a timely fashion. We want you to arrive at Colorado College with as few complications as possible. Please read the “J-1 Visa Information for International Visiting Faculty” page carefully, and when making long term plans give special attention to the page entitled “Limitations.”

The International Studies Program wishes to introduce you to the Colorado College community and to the community at large. Please provide us with some biographical information by submitting the online form on our Request for Information page. You are welcome to send us this information before you arrive.

We encourage you to communicate with your faculty host about your travel plans and with any concerns you may have. The International Studies Program is also a resource for you to answer questions. Please do not hesitate to contact us and to visit us at the International Studies Program House when you arrive.
