461, 462 — Field Research in Physics. The design, execution, and evaluation of field research in physics. Use of instrumentation including computerized data acquisition, construction and testing of equipment for fieldwork, planning a field program and carrying out field research, analyzing and reporting results. PC 461 is a 1/2 unit extended format course, and must be completed prior to PC 462, the 1 unit block course devoted to field research.
