|  | | Roxeanne "Rockie" Chisesi works as the behavior intervention officer at North Middle School in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In the three years since Rockie took her position int he BIO room she has earned the respect of her students and the faculty of North.
However, school was not a place that Rockie has always enjoyed. Growing up, moving around a lot, school was often the last place Rockie wanted to be.
"What got me back into school was my kids," Rockie said. "I didn't want my kids to say, 'Mom hates school, so we can hate school.'" |

Carlos Frum, an Argentine immigrant became one of the most successful entrepreneurs in Chicago when he started Northbrook Computers in 1980. As a visiting professor to CC, he brings knowldege, experience, and generosity to the classroom during his sixth block class. Students continue to offer praise, even after class is over. |
