Marcia Dobson:  Professor of Classics, 1993-  B.A., Bennington College, 1963; M.A., Tufts University, 1964; Ph.D., Harvard University, 1976. Marcia has been a member of the Classics faculty at CC since 1976.  She teaches many popular classes, including Myth and Meaning.  In addition to her Classics Ph.D., she also has a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis on Depth Psychology. e-mail: MDobson@coloradocollege.edu

Owen Cramer:  Moses Clement Gile Professor of Classics, 1984-  ; Judson M. Bemis Professor of Humanities 2006- B.A., Oberlin College, 1962; Ph.D., University of Texas, 1973.  Hon. 	Patricia Fitzgibbon:  Visiting Associate Professor, 2007- B. A., Classics and English, University of South Dakota; M. A., Latin, University of Georgia; Ph. D., Classical Studies, Duke University Patricia FitzGibbon, at Colorado College since 1999, has taught Latin at the beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels in both high school and college. Sanjaya Thakur: Riley Scholar 2008-09 B.S., UCLA, 1998; M.A. Classical Studies, M.A. Classical Art and Archaeology, Ph.D. Classical Studies, University of Michigan, 2008.     Craig Dethloff Visiting Assistant Professor, 2003 Ph.D. 2003, Classics, Johns Hopkins--dissertation on Hestia. CC courses on Greek, Invention of History, Greek religion (Violence and the Sacred) and culture (Tools that Talk).	Sanjaya's major areas of interest are Latin literature and culture (in particular the poetry of the Augustan age), topography, the use(s) of public space in ancient culture and its depiction in literature.
