in current informational bulletins and The Directory of Accredited Physical
Therapy Education Programs. Specific graduate schools will vary slightly
in prerequisite requirements.

External Requirements
- Graduate Record Exam (GRE)
taken no later than mid-first semester of senior year.
- Clinical Observation: 1000 hours
minimum in three to five separate clinical settings.
- Surgical observation in orthopaedics.
- Additional off-campus study
with emphasis on geriatric patient population.
By the end of your Sophomore year, you
should have:
- Approximately 100 hours of clinical
observation
- A proposed 4 year tentative
course of study to be submitted for pre-approval to P.T. graduate programs
of your choice.
