KALLISTI PRESS FONT SUGGESTIONS
There is no fixed typographical standard for text fonts. Andrew Stiller of Kallisti Music Press uses the following (with exceptions causa pulchritudinis). All font sizes assume a page reduction of 80%:
Subtitle: Times 32/18 respectively, or use a fancy display font, especially for new music
Copyright: Helvetica 9
Main tempo headings: TimesBold 14
Tempo modifications (such as pi`u mosso): TimesItalic 14
Playing instructions (marcato, diminuendo, etc.): TimesItalic 12
Procedural instructions (divisi, solo, etc.): Times 12
Measure numbers: Helvetica 10
Staff names: Times 12 (actually, MetTimes 12, wh. looks the same but has a flat sign in it)
Tuplets: TimesItalic 10
Fingering: Petrucci 24
Medieval music fonts:
Passport's "Anastasia" font.
"Frets A, B, and C" fonts.(fretboard symbols).

Rameau (CodaMusic) has struck-through numbers and symbols for major and minor chords in the "Nashville Number" system.
GoldenAge makes several type faces specifically designed for Finale in Type 1 & Truetype, Mostly for jazz ornaments, repeat sign brackets, and other handwritten-looking things to make jazz charts look like "real books".
