During the first summer, you complete content background courses, participate in action research and educational technology classes, and begin research on an extended masters research paper. The first semester is devoted to reading methods, secondary school teaching methods, and student teaching. If your student teaching performance is satisfactory, you begin a full-time, semester-long, spring internship at a local school.
