Professor of Economics, The Colorado College.  2002 – Present.  Courses taught: environmental economics, resource economics, microeconomic theory, research methods, industrial organization, principles of economics, the Colorado River, water in the west, natural resource management.  Advisor for the minor in resource systems in the American west and the minor in environmental issues. Assistant department chair, fall, 1993; acting department chair, spring 1994; assistant department chair 1996 to 2000.  Chair, Faculty Executive Committee, 1999-2000.  Department Chair, 2000 to 2003.

 

Associate Professor of Economics,  The Colorado College.  1993 – 2002.

 

Project Manager/Research Scholar, Water Resources Project, International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis, Laxenburg, Austria.  Researched use of economics instruments for water quality management in central and eastern Europe and helped develop water quality management software.  Coordinated research efforts of a multi-national, multi-disciplinary team of eight research scholars.  May 1994 – June 1996.

 

Assistant Professor of Economics, The Colorado College.  1988 – 1993.
