A course introducing the classical Latin language
through continuous reading and exercises. There are two formats:
a year-long course, carrying 1 CC unit of credit, meeting (in 2001-2002) at 8:00 am on Mondays and Wednesdays, sometimes on Fridays.
And an intensive, two-block course meeting in blocks 5-6 (January-March)
Oxford
Latin Course drills available on the Internet (thanks to Margaret Phillips,
Univ. of Missouri/St. Louis)
and
Robert Cape (Austin College)
Other Latin links
The Perseus site has lots of Latin
text in Latin and English, with links to the Allen and Greenough grammar
and the Lewis and Short Latin dictionary built in.
The Latin Library at Ad Fontes Academy has lots of handily-formatted Latin text, without the grammar and lexicon.
The VRoma project headquartered
at the Associated Colleges of the South gets you to a lot of useful virtual
places.
