5MT 1772
 

5MT 1772 is a Basketmaker III (AD 450-700) habitation located on the mesa top above Lightning Tree Canyon. The site consists of 6 possible pitstructure depressions, 19 rock piles, 9 artifact concentrations, and 2 storage cists.

A bag of 33 sherds looted from nearby sites was found in a shovel probe hole on the site. A projectile point was also found near the bag of sherds. In addition to this projectile point, a Jay stemmed projectile point and an Elko corner notched projectile point were found, both of which date to the Archaic Period (5500 BC - AD 500).
