The visual resources center serves
as a teaching resource primarily for the art department, although faculty and students from other
departments have access to the
materials here. Ordinarily slides may be borrowed overnight only,
although we may occasionally make an exception. The collection is
used for academic and public lectures, for workshops and presentations,
and in some cases for scholarly research. It is considered a medium
sized fine arts slide collection with total holdings of about 165,000 slides.
The visual resource center is
open weekdays from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, and closed on weekends.
