| CATERING INFORMATION Click here to download the catering guide and menu. You will find several different menus on these pages with many suggestions to help you in planning your event. Our experienced catering staff are also available to customize a menu to meet your specific needs. All catering orders need to be placed with the Catering Office TWO WEEKS prior to the date of the event. Please note that all food and beverage prices are subject to change without notice, but may be confirmed three months prior to your event. Sodexho Marriott must at all events catered by us, provide all food and non-alcoholic beverages. Exceptions include
wedding cakes and special mints or candies. For health reasons, Sodexho Marriott does not allow any leftover food
items to be taken home by our guests. ROOM RESERVATIONS As soon as you receive a confirmation from the Conference Office that
your event has been scheduled, contact the Catering Office to reserve
service. Colorado College reserves the right to reassign rooms depending
on availability and party size. Sodexho Marriott is also happy to cater
at many other locations in the area. Whether it is a small gathering
in your home or office, or a company party at the park or local hall,
the Sodexho Marriott staff will arrange for everything from china and
linen, to tables, chairs and decorations. GUARANTEE Final attendance must be confirmed with the Catering Office 72-BUSINESS
HOURS in advance, or the expected number will be used as the guarantee.
This number will be your guarantee and not subject to reduction. We
will always set and prepare for 5% over the guarantee. On your final
bill, you will be charged for your guarantee OR the actual attendance,
whichever is greater. For every event, we will send out a confirmation
detailing the service time, menu, location and charges. Please review
these confirmations carefully and notify the Catering Office with any
changes. DECORATIONS Arrangements for floral centerpieces and special props may be made with the Catering Manager. All decorations must meet with the approval of the local fire department. Sodexho Marriott will not permit the affixing of anything to the walls or ceilings of the rooms unless the Catering Department of Colorado College provides written approval. Most rooms will be available for decorating prior to the event, although you should confirm this with the Catering Department. Please confirm all deliveries of either decorations or alcoholic beverages with the Catering Office. SECURITY AND LIABILITY Sodexho Marriott will not assume any responsibility for the damage to or loss of any merchandise or articles left
at the function prior to, during, or following an event. If valuable items are to be left in the banquet area, it
is recommended that a security patrol be retained. A minimum service charge may result for some smaller catering events.
The size, menu and location of the event will determine these charges.
Additional charges may result for room arrangements that are not directly
related to the serving of food or beverages. DELIVERIES Any catering event that totals less than $20.00 will be charged a $20.00
delivery fee. NON-COLLEGE EVENTS All non-college events are subject to a 15% gratuity and 15% service
charge. STEPS TO BOOKING A SUCCESSFUL CATERING EVENT Submit a final menu to the Catering Office no less than seven (7) business days prior to your function. Menus submitted less than seven (7) days prior are subject to availability and a $20.00 service charge. Confirm your guaranteed number of guests 72 hours before the event.
