Every day of thousands of people, from all 50 states and around the world, visit our Web site to find information about Colorado College. The college needs a Web presence that reflects its excellence, and communicates its core messages to a diverse external audience.

The office of admission needs to recruit qualified prospective students to Colorado College. Our challenge was to develop a family of publications that stand out from the clutter of college recruitment materials and that highlight what is different about CC – the Block Plan and our location.
Our Role:
Brainstorming concepts, research, writing, editing, design, art direction of photography, and printer oversight.

The college was in the midst of a capital campaign and needed a place where people could go to learn more about the whys and hows.

To increase visibility of and participation in the State of the Rockies Conference, and to provide a high-quality piece of memorabilia for SOTR attendees and a thank-you for donors.

The Challenge:
The development office received a grant to raise awareness in the community and on campus of the many Colorado College buildings with historic significance. They needed to create a useable brochure for a self-guided walking tour of historic campus buildings as well as an interactive Web site.

Design, editing, art direction of photography, coordination with outside resources, printer oversight, website production.

After the college received funds to increase the number of venture grants offered to students, the dean’s office needed to find a good way to let students know about this great opportunity.

The Challenge:
Colorado College offers a multitude of exciting initiatives every year, all of which warrant visibility and/or participation. These range from the opening of the Edith Kinney Gaylord Cornerstone Arts Center, to the State of the Rockies Project, to a variety of lectures, concerts, seminars, and performances. The office of communications works with the media to generate press coverage and visibility for the college.
Our Role:
Messaging, strategic communications, audience targeting, and distributing the message.

The office of communications represents and promotes the college and its faculty, students, programs, and policies to a variety of internal and external constituents, including employees, alumni, the media, government officials, students and their parents, and neighbors of the college.
