The Information Technology Services division at Colorado College was proud
to present:
CLAC 2004: Sustainable Computing
in beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado, June 10-12, 2004.
We explored the many facets of “sustainability” and how it relates
to information technology in higher education. The conference program included the following panel sessions:
- Funding IT wisely
- Taming the Web beast
- Networks inside, outside, and upside down
- Greener computing
- Staying wise to smart classroom design
- Sustaining our human resources
- Managing user expectations
- Information literacy initiatives and collaborations
- Sane SANs
- And special sessions for CLAC reps, CIOs, and on topics like systems thinking
and environmental sustainability
Each of the panel sessions provided us with information to be shared and disseminated on our home campuses. Please check out the "Materials" area for PowerPoint slides, PDFs, and more.
