Immigration Integration: Opportunities for CC Students
Internships
Through grant funding, the Partnership for Civic Engagement employs two or three student interns each year to contribute to the immigrant integration project. The interns serve the Pikes Peak Immigrant and Refugee Collaborative by conducting research projects, organizing meetings, collecting ideas and data at events, and maintaining collaborative membership. If you are interested in this position and would like to apply, please contact the PPIRC Staff.
Capstone or Independent Study
Some students have used the PPIRC project as a laboratory for their thesis or independent study. Because of the delicate nature of community partnerships, this level of engagement in a long-term project requires respect, diplomacy, and tact. To investigate the possibility of using this strategic focus to support your academic work, please contact the PPIRC Staff.
