EVENTS Past events: The farm club made a wonderful gourmet meal for faculty and community members interested in our farm at the Harvest Banquet this October. The Harvest Banquet was one of our most successful fundraising events, and we are very grateful to those who volunteered at the event and of course those who attended the event. The Green and Bluegrass Festival is always one of our most popular events, and it is co-sponsored by the Carnivore Club. Upcoming events: The annual Seed Exchange in which farmers from all over Colorado come to share seeds, a good meal, and generally build unity within the slow food movement. We haven't set a date for this event yet, so keep checking back. If you would like to suggest an event please contact farm social chair Juna Muller. LOCAL SCHOOLS We hope to eventually reach out to local elementary schools and programs like YES (Young Environmental Stewards) to teach them about the importance of sustainable agriculture.LOCAL FARMS We will continue to work with Venetucci Farm as well as Larga Vista Ranch, and we hope to build more connections with other farms in the area. If you are a local farm who would like to receive updates about our farm or be directly involved in our farm please contact outreach chairs Brenna Thompson or Sophia Maravell.VOLUNTEER The CC Farm always welcomes volunteers especially newcomers! Even though the garden has now died down there is plenty to do including designing next years plot, fundraising, and putting on events to raise campus awareness of the farm.
