Worner Activities Committee

Worner Activities Committee is dedicated to bringing college-oriented entertainment to campus.  Students select talent, plan, and produce all of the events.  This committee has sponsored events including: comedians, theatre groups, novelties, storytellers, hypnotists, poetry slams, mentalists, speakers, and musicians. WAC also co-sponsors many large campus events such as the campus Winter Ball.

Everyone is welcome at WAC's weekly meetings (Mondays at 12:15 in upstairs Worner). Please feel free to contact a WAC Member.

~Mentalist Craig Karges on Tuesday, September 7 in Armstrong Theatre.
~Ari Hest and Band on Thursday, October 14 at 12:30pm in the McHugh Commons.
~Arlo Guthrie (American Folk Legend) and Family on Sunday, October 24 at 3pm in Shove Chapel.

Recent Events from Spring 2004:
~WAC Coffeehouse Spotlight featuring student artists Steph Peters, Alex Smith, and visiting artist Sam Shaber from NYC. 7:30-10pm at Worner Fireside.

~ Salsa Dance and lessons co-sponsored with SOMOS. Lessons and dancing from 8-10pm with the live band Orqeustra Sabroso in Worner Perkins Lounge.
