AMA is an ESL group working with the formerly-entitled Bijou Center in Colorado Springs. Volunteers consist entirely of Colorado College undergraduates who assist the children with their homework, help them improve their reading skills, and provide them with fun and educational activities. AMA provides tutoring support for the children because, in many cases, the parents of the children to not speak English fluently and are unable to help their children with the homework. We meet on the first three Tuesdays of every block, from 4:15-5:45 pm.

Synergy is a student house on campus whose main focus is sustainable living. Synergy residents are people who are committed to living in an environmentally friendly way. Each resident has a project to make the house greener. Students who live at Synergy are independent of the meal plan and cleaning services. Volunteer Action is a mentoring program that matches CC volunteers with 4th and 5th grade students from local elementary schools. Academics are placed aside and healthy, fun activities are provided to inspire other interests.
