NSO Backpacking Trips
During New Student Orientation, the ORC provides incoming first years with the opportunity to go on a service-oriented backcountry backpacking trip. Backcountry organizations such as Colorado Founrteeners Initiative and Rocky Mountain Field Institute provide groups of first years with the opportunity to stay in the backcountry while working on important restoration, trail maintenance, and conservations of the outdoors.
Its easy to get involved!!!
The ORC is open to all students, regardless of previous outdoor experience. The ORC meets the first three Tuesdays of every block at 12:15 in the WES Room. All are welcome!
