Audiovisual Equipment
A variety of audio visual equipment can be checked out with a valid CC ID through Audio Visual Services in Armstrong Hall, Room 18, x6378. The inventory includes VCRs and TVs, CD and DVD players, data, video, slide, and other projectors, digital and analog video, and still cameras, mics, cassette recorders, boom boxes, and other items. Due to limited inventory, academic use has priority and fines are charged for late returns. Some restrictions and fees apply for nonacademic use.

Boettcher Health Center
The medical staff and counselors are Boettcher are available for workshops and group presentations on such topics as preventative medicine, sports medicine, stress, eating disorders, sexuality, birth control, depression/suicide prevention, wellness group dynamics, alcohol and drug abuse, first aid, and other health and counseling-related concerns. Central Services
Printing and Photocopying
Central Services, located at 815 North Tejon Street, can print posters, flyers, table tents, tickets, postcards, programs, pamphlets, newsletters, invitations, and envelopes for any and all campus events. While they encourage the use of white paper that can be easily recycled, they stock a wide range of colors, weights, and textures of paper. Allow three days for printing. Additionally, Central Services has a high-speed folding machine and equipment to spiral bind reports and manuscripts. A color copier is available for use and is located in the Information Technolgy Office in Armstrong Hall, Room 40. Color copies can be made on 8 ½ x 11, 8 ½ x 14, or 11x 17 size paper. Fax
There is a fax machine available to faculty and administrative offices for sending and receiving letters. The fax machine receives correspondence seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day. The fax number is (719) 389-6282. For assistance, phone x6428.

Letterhead
Orders for Colorado College departmental logo letterhead and business cards should be placed in Central Services. An on-hand inventory of generic letterhead and envelopes, mailing labels and half-sheet letterhead is available and can be purchased by filling out a Central Services Order Form. Mail
For quick delivery of correspondence to a faculty member from a student, bring your Intra-Campus letters to the Worner Center mail room. For assistance, call x6799 or x6739. A bulk mail unit is available for sending second and third class large mailings and is located in Central Services at 815 North Tejon Street. Call x6428 for more information.

Chaplain's Office
The Chaplain fosters the life of the spirit at Colorado College by encouraging campus participating in issues of religious and ethical importance. The Chaplain advises interfaith groups such as Shove Council and SIRV (Students Interested in Religious Vocations), supports diverse campus religious groups, and sponsors programs such as the Holocaust Memorial Series, the Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration, as well as Faculty and Faith. The Chaplain is available to meet with individuals or groups to help plan campus programs exploring religious life, contemporary spirituality, social justice, or global peacemaking.

The Colorado College Directory
The annual directory lists students and employees phone numbers, departments, committee members, advisors to ACM and pre-professional programs, sorority and fraternity presidents and honor council members. Central Services distributes the directory to individual mailboxes in October.

Facilities Services
All Facilities Services set-ups should be requested on a Facilities and Services Request Form. These forms are available at the Worner Center Desk. For emergencies after hours, contact Security at x6707.

Mail Rooms
· The mailroom in the lower level of Worner Campus Center sells stamps; accepts parcels for mailing through United Parcel Service or the United States Postal Service; weighs and sends foreign letters and parcels; expedites Express Mail, UPS Next Day Air, and Federal Express correspondences; meters mail for all departments; and offers advice and suggestions for all mailings. There are bins for outgoing mail, Intra-Campus correspondence, and mail to be metered.
· Before mailing packages domestically or internationally, talk to the personnel in the mailroom at x6799 or x6739 to ensure proper packaging for safe delivery. They can also assist you in selecting the best carrier and offer tips on saving postage costs.
· Student mailboxes are located near the Worner Center Mailroom. Notices are placed in the student’s individual mailboxes when a package, registered mail, or express mail has been received. Upon presentation of the notification and a student ID, the above items can be picked up at the Worner Center Mailroom.
· The Registrar’s Office assigns registered students a mail box number. Correct addressing of a student’s incoming mail will assure quick and speedy delivery. An example follows;

· Student mail can be forwarded by filling out a request for address change in the Worner Center Post Office. Automatic forwarding to a student’s permanent home address begins the day after graduation unless the Worner Center Post Office is notified by the student that he/she would like his/her mail sent to a different address. All mail left in the student mailboxes after graduation is pulled and forwarded. Mail is not forwarded during the break between Blocks IV and V and Spring Break; however, mail is sorted and distributed during those times.

Security Guards
A Colorado College security guard may be hired for any campus event, but is required at the following times when alcohol is served, when the event is held outside, or for any event that is open to the public. The guard is present to assist the organization and to help control outsiders. Make arrangements through Campus Activities, x6800, to hire guards from Cheyenne Mountain Security.
SPECIAL EVENTS TECHNICAL SUPERVISOR
· The Special Events Technical Supervisor is available to assist you for events such as lectures, concerts and recitals. Event services provided include set-up and operation of PA systems, lighting systems, recording, and house managing.
· The Special Events Supervisor, or a designate, must be present for events occurring in Packard Performance Hall and Armstrong Theatre and may incur a labor charge.
· If you need assistance during rehearsals for your event, schedule this with the Special Events Supervisor.
· If crew assistance is needed, it may be necessary to cover labor costs. A budget code is required for all scheduled events.
· Please contact the Special Events Supervisor, x6382, at least two (2) weeks before your event. Technical riders for all major events in Armstrong Theatre must be received by the Special Events Office no less than one (1) month before the date of the event in order for Special Events Technical services to be guaranteed.
· Consultations are provided between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM Monday-Friday in Armstrong Hall, Room 18; all other times by appointment. Because of scheduling and/or labor conflicts, last minute requests may be impossible to honor.

Sodexho Catering
· The Sodexho Catering department has a wide variety of menu options to choose from and is happy to meet with groups and plan custom menus. Please see the catering office for a copy of the brochure and price list.
· All catering functions need to be booked with the catering manager in the Sodexho Office, located on the lower level of Ticknor Hall, x6673. A two-week advance notice is requested for all catering events.
· A final guarantee of attendance is required for all catering functions two (2) working days before the function. The function will be billed based on the final guarantee or the actual attendance, whichever is greater.
· Payment in full or a college budget code is due before all catering events.
· There is no charge for cancellations made at least 48 hours before the event. Cancellations made less than 48 hours may result in a charge for food items already purchased. Cancellations with no notice will be charged as per guarantee.
· All functions must have room reservations scheduled through the Worner Center Desk. Both Sodexho Catering and the Colorado College reserve the right to turn down requests for services when there is a direct conflict with a previously scheduled function.
· Sodexho Catering will not purchase alcoholic beverages for use by their clients. Service of alcoholic beverages will be permitted when the Colorado College Legal Counsel has notified the catering manager that permission has been granted for such service. In such a case, Sodexho Catering will only serve at staff/faculty events, not at student events. Sodexho Catering will enforce Colorado Liquor Laws and will not permit service to minors.

Tutt Library
The library staff is available to help identify resources (books, maps, videos, Internet sites, etc.) which might be useful in the planning and execution of a program. The librarians conduct several workshops during each block on the catalog, how to conduct research, how to use the Web, and how to use various indexes and directories. Please contact the library director’s office at x6670 to schedule individual/group instruction geared toward your group. There are also several resources in the library’s reference collection that might be of use when programming events for the college community. To schedule a room for group viewing of videos or to obtain information about copyright, please call Circulation at x6659.

Vehicles
· Only employees, designated student drivers, and designated official guests are eligible to use the college vehicles. A designated student driver is one who has the proper license for the assigned vehicle. Drivers must be 21 years of age. Only Facilities Services CDL licensed drivers may drive the 45-passenger and 25-passenger buses. A designated driver may participate in a Facilities Services driving class held the first Tuesday of each block at 3:00 PM. An additional class is held on the second Tuesday of the first and fifth blocks. A designated driver must be authorized by a professor or department chair.
· All drivers must be licensed in accordance with the Colorado Motor Vehicle Law.
· The driver assigned to a vehicle is solely responsible for it.
· Drivers are expected to comply with all traffic regulations and are responsible for paying any traffic fines.
· Damage to a college vehicle caused by negligence may be charged to the driver personally.
· Neither alcoholic beverages nor illegal drugs are allowed in college vehicles.
· College vehicles are reserved through the Facilities Services office, x6175, and a minimum of twenty-four hours notice should be given. Vehicles are allotted on a first-come, first-served basis and must be returned at a prearranged time to be ready for the next scheduled reservation. Penalties will be charged unless delay arrangements are approved in advance.
· Departmental budgets will be charged for the use of college vehicles. Call x6175 for more information.
· Staff members and students using privately owned vehicles on official college business are advised that they are not covered under any type of automobile liability or property damage insurance carried by the college.
· Students are required to participate in a safe driver-training program. Driver training is scheduled for the first Tuesday of each block, and the second Tuesday of the first and fifth blocks at 3:00 PM at Facilities Services. Students will not be allowed to drive vehicles without completing this training program. Students will be required to present proof of training when checking out a college vehicle.
