What is the Challenge Course?
The Challenge Course is located on the forty acres surrounding the CC Cabin, and is designed to assist individuals to set and attain personal goals and to facilitate the interpersonal relationships within an organization, department, or class.
The Challenge Course is a low ropes course that is consists of wood and/or cable elements. Most of the elements require groups to engage in creative problem solving, teamwork, and collaboration. A few of the initiatives focus more on individual accomplishments and confidence building.

Who facilitates the Challenge Course?
The Challenge Course may only be used by groups that are accompanied by a facilitator trained and approved by Campus Activities. Facilitators will meet with members of the organization, class, or department before the scheduled day to complete the Challenge Course to:
1. Review the purpose of the organization’s participation n the Challenge Course
2. Determine the number of people attending the Challenge Course
3. Setting goals to be met by the end of the Challenge Course
4. Discuss the nature of the individuals participating in the Challenge Course
How long is the Challenge Course?
Courses can last from a minimum of two hours to a full day. The facilitators will work with you on your time limitations.
Who can use the Challenge Course and how much does it cost?
Any member of the CC community can reserve the Challenge Course. We recommend that groups have a minimum of five people and a maximum of 12. If your organization is larger than 12, then we can divide the group into separate teams. The cost for this use is $45 per facilitator for each three-hour period. These fees go towards the maintenance of the Challenge Course and facilitator wages.
How does a group reserve the Challenge Course?
Any interested group must first reserve the CC Cabin through the Worner Desk
(389-6607). Once the cabin has been reserved, please contact Campus Activities to complete the Challenge Course paperwork and set up a meeting with the Coordinator of Campus Activities to design your challenge.
