Prepare to have your breath taken away once you step into Shove Chapel.

Shove Memorial Chapel

The top of Shove's bell tower gives one of the best views of campus and is one of CC's best-kept secrets, but if you don't have the chance to climb to the top, simply sitting in the chapel gives you a unique perspective. It's a quiet and graceful space where anybody can come to take a break from the constant activity buzzing around campus.

Shove Chapel is CC's nondenominational place of worship. The chapel is a community gathering space for classes, lectures, and programs which range from choir concerts to CC's annual student-run fashion show. Students gather for open mic nights in the lower level of Shove Chapel at Sacred Grounds, our student-run coffee shop. Shove is also the headquarters of CC's Community Kitchen, where students have prepared warm meals for the Colorado Springs homeless community every Sunday for the past 20 years.
