Language Houses

The Language Houses are a great place to live if you prefer the feeling of a small house over a traditional dorm. The houses are beautiful and historic, and since they house only 10-20 students per year, they're perfect for someone looking for a more close-knit community centered on cultural exploration and language immersion.

Students have the opportunity to live in one of our six language houses. The themes are Spanish, French, German, Italian, Russian, and Japanese/Chinese, and the students who live in these houses maintain a commitment to practicing the particular language and culture of the house. Language houses are a great option if you're looking for a sense of community centered on cultural exploration and language immersion. You don't need to be fluent to move in, but you might be on your way by the time you move out.
