Thanks to generous
support from the Crown Faculty Center, Colorado
College is now a full member of the Educause
Learning Initiative (ELI).
The goal of ELI is "to help institutions
advance learning through IT innovation." To that end, ELI
brings together faculty, instructional technologists, instructional
designers, librarians, and other academic support professions
to engage in three main areas of focus:
Our full membership also affords us:
- Four registration waivers at the ELI Annual Meeting
(normally $875 per person for non-members)
- Two registration waivers at both ELI focus sessions
(normally $410 per person for non-members)
- ELI Web Seminars (members-only)
(see the ELI Events page
for schedule information)
- Access to ELI Discovery Tools (members-only)
- White papers
- 7 Things You Should Know About... briefs
- Innovations &Implementations case studies
- ELI Web resources
Every month, we will highlight an on-line
resource from ELI on our How-To... page that we feel is
of particular interest to CC. We will also highlight ELI
events on our News & Events page.
If you are interested in exploring the
members-only resources available at the ELI site, or in
participating one of the ELI events or webinars, please
contact Marla Gerein (mgerein@coloradocollege.edu) for
