What's New

John maintains all student computing labs on campus (CAT, Keck, Barnes, and Palmer 2). He also supervises and trains the student technology workforce. He is working on developing technology training opportunities for the CC student body, and is available for one-on-one consultations.

John rejoined Colorado College in August, 2006, having previously supervised the Art Department digital video lab from 2000-2005. He looks forward to continuing to help CC students build their technical chops in support of their learning.

Brief Biography

John was born and raised in Canton, Ohio, in a small brick ranch house next to a dairy farm. He has two older sisters, one nephew, and eight houseplants. Never a slave to the whims of navel fashion, John rocks the "outie."

John’s areas of strength and interest include:  instructional technology design and implementation, program development and evaluation, digital video, and multimedia.

• Wireless Handheld Field Trips at the Boston Museum of Science, an experiment in podcasting and distributed computing (journal article forthcoming)
