2001 Cabernet Sauvignon (Central Coast)

Overview and Tasting Notes
Our 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon hails from the warmer valleys and regions of California’s Central Coast, including Paso Robles, where conditions are optimal for the cultivation of ripe, full-bodies Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged for 18 months in a combination of American (70%) and French (30%) oak barrels, this wine boasts concentrated flavors of blackberry and cassis that unfold with accents of mocha, vanilla and spice. Soft tannins accompany a rich, lingering finish.

Cuisine Pairing
The ripe, concentrated flavors of our 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon are an excellent match for ribeye steak, roast beef and top sirloin. This wine also pairs well with rich, flavorful cheeses and dark chocolate.
2002 Sauvignon Blanc (Central Coast)

Overview and Tasting Notes
Our 2002 Sauvignon Blanc hails from Monterey and Santa Barbara counties, both excellent regions for the cultivation of full-flavored, varietally expressive Sauvignon Blanc. This wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve the varietal’s natural aromatic complexity and textural crispness. True to form, our 2002 Sauvignon Blanc boasts an engaging bouquet of citrus, peach and fresh herbs. A rich, round texture unfolds with accents of melon, guava and grapefruit into a crisp, lingering finish.

Cuisine Pairing
The crisp, expressive character of our 2002 Sauvignon Blanc pairs with a broad range of seafood and shellfish, as well as light pastas, salads and poultry.
