Class of 2009 Legacy Dinner
The Student Alumni Association (S/AA) and the office
of Alumni
Relations hosted the annual Colorado College Legacy
Dinner on Sunday, August 29, 2005 at Tutt Alumni House.
Colorado College defines legacies as students who are
related to alumni of Colorado College and considers
them to be a very special part of the Colorado College
family. This year’s dinner for the class of 2009
hosted almost 30 of the 36 legacies in this class.
CC's president, Richard F. Celeste, and VP for Alumni, Development
and College Relations, Steve Elder welcomed the class of 2009 and articulated how well
it reflects on CC that parents who are alumni continue
to send their "most precious gifts," their
children, to the college.
Additionally, S/AA president Carrie Swint introduced the S/AA members in attendance who inturn invited the class of 2009 legacies to join S/AA and to become involved on campus.
