Rich is a successful Austin, Texas-based country, blues, rock and folk
guitarist and record producer, having performed and produced recordings
with artists such as Willie Nelson, Lyle Lovett, Charlie Robison, Eliza
Gilkyson and many others. Rich has spent the last 13 years as guitarist,
singer, bandleader and producer for the Robert Earl Keen band, a seminal
force in the world of new Texas music. With Keen’s band, Rich has
appeared several times on “Austin City Limits” and “Late
Night with Conan O’Brien.” He has been lauded by music
critics as one of the greatest guitar players of the bluegrass/country/folk
amalgam of music known as Americana, or alternative country.
